TAMIL NEW YEAR CELEBRATION 14-04-2024 - SHINE

This is the start of the harvest season, and it is celebrated with a lot of pomp and grandeur. Puthandu is celebrated in Tamil Nadu.

The Tamil New Year is referred to as Puthandu. Chitterai, the month of the Tamil calendar is marked by Puthandu as its first day. This also marks the start of the year for the people of Tamil Nadu.

On 14th April 2024 was celebrated as Tamil New Year at The Shine children home with great zeal and enthusiasm under the coordination of Mr. Govindraj.

Our home child Sanjana started the program with a marvelous welcome speech after that all children participated in dance and singing competition. Celebration is carried out for full day.
